Call for speakers/ panelists
It's that time of year again! As many of you know, I'm chairing this year's Online News Association conference. We're releasing an RFP today to solicit ideas for speakers, panels and hands-on classes. I am encouraging you to have a look through our list and to consider submitting a proposal. We're eager to produce a highly diverse conference where participants will walk away with a handful of big ideas and some new technical skills they can put to work straight away.

International, professional (journalist/ tech/ general digital media) and student submissions are all welcomed! The deadline for submissions is March 10th at 5pm EST. Don't send proposals to me - they should go to info@journalists.org.
Also, we're holding a contest for this year's logo design. More specifics are listed here. The winning entry gets guaranteed free admission to the conference. I say guaranteed because last year we were oversold, and there's a very good possibility that we'll have to turn away folks this year... Logo submissions are also due on March 10th at 5pm EST and should be sent to ONA2008logo@gmail.com.
