Webbmedia >> Adapting Technology for Journalism

webbmedia research fellows

Webbmedia Group has a Research Fellowship program and accepts six - eight participants throughout the year. This is a highly competitive program that offers intensive mentoring as well as hands-on skills building. This fellowship provides access to the latest emerging technology tools and trends as well as access to our cadre of consultants, many of whom are former award-winning technologists and journalists. Fellows are responsible for researching trends and projects, speaking with industry leaders and product developers and writing research memos and reports which are published and syndicated. Fellows receive full bylines on all of their work.

Previous Webbmedia Group Research Fellows:

Elizabeth Davies

Fall 2009 Research Fellow

Elizabeth is a recent Politics graduate from the University of Cambridge, trying to break into the heady world of journalism. She is looking forward to the opportunity to pick up some more experience and put her well-honed internet research skills to use as an intern for Webbmedia Group.

A West Wing junkie, the highlight of Elizabeth's journalism experience so far has been covering the 2008 Presidential election for three months with the UK's Channel 4 News. She has also worked as Editor of The Berry, Cambridge's student political paper, and as a correspondent for Scoop08 and The National Student. Elizabeth has just moved to London, where she is discovering the true value of her iPhone - stopping her from becoming completely and hopelessly lost every time she steps outside her front door.
